Pars 4 Residential Complex
Nestled on the northwestern foothills of Shiraz, within the Barf Forooshan district, the Pars 4 Residential Complex is conceived as a dynamic architectural form that emerges from the natural slope of the land. More than a residential building, Pars 4 functions as an urban ecosystem, intertwining life, interaction, and nature in a single living structure.
At first glance, the central open void captures attention—a multilevel courtyard carved into the heart of the volume, extending from the first to the fourth floor. Suspended between sky and ground, this open atrium channels daylight and natural ventilation deep into the building. Lined with gardens, soft pathways, and communal seating areas, it becomes a shared green space for rest, dialogue, and community life, transforming architecture into a medium of human connection.
The building’s massing is sculpted through a play of solids and voids—a rhythmic arrangement of cubic volumes that project and recess to create vibrant light and shadow across the façades. These carved spaces form green terraces and suspended gardens, introducing vegetation at every level and expressing the project’s commitment to sustainable, living architecture.
The main entrance, defined by broad, ascending steps, acts as a small urban plaza—welcoming, civic, and dignified. Above it, an open suspended platform reinforces the sense of movement and fluidity, establishing a poetic dialogue between interior and exterior.
Towards the upper levels, the mass gradually tapers, culminating in penthouse residences that crown the structure like an architectural crest. This stepped composition not only completes the visual rhythm but also opens panoramic views across the city and surrounding landscape.
Set within a site with an eight-meter natural elevation difference, the project is carefully embedded into its terrain. Lower levels accommodate parking, while upper levels interweave with surrounding gardens and landscaped terraces. The use of varied materials, vertical and horizontal textures, and refined tonal contrasts gives the building a distinctly contemporary yet timeless identity.
Throughout the composition, greenery plays a central role—trees on rooftops, hanging gardens on terraces, and the verdant central courtyard together transform Pars 4 into a living ecosystem, where architecture, nature, and everyday life converge.
Ultimately, Pars 4 is not merely a residential complex but an urban living experience—one rooted in the principles of sustainable design and contemporary urbanism, offering a new vision of residential quality in the city of Shiraz.
