Marina Residential Complex

Located in the Barf Forooshan district of Shiraz, the Marina Residential Complex stands as a new urban landmark — a sculptural form that evokes the prow of a ship set against the wind. Through a contemporary architectural language, the project expresses both strength and fluidity, emerging as a refined symbol of motion within the cityscape.

The tower rises from a solid podium, firmly anchored to the ground, providing a strong base from which a light and transparent vertical form ascends. This dialogue between solidity and openness defines the project’s architectural identity.

A composition of continuous glass surfaces and weightier stone elements creates a deliberate contrast — one that emphasizes the duality of transparency and permanence. The green-tinted balconies, rendered in varied tones, introduce vertical vegetation and add rhythm and vibrancy to the façade. This interplay of color, light, and volume not only enhances the tower’s legibility in the urban fabric but also gives it a dynamic, contemporary presence.

At the design level, Marina achieves a balance between performance and aesthetics. The podium serves as a robust urban base housing public and service functions, while the tower above, lighter and more transparent, accommodates the residential units. This architectural layering enhances both livability and urban presence, defining a clear transition from communal to private space.

Ultimately, the Marina Residential Complex represents a modern architectural statement within a historic city — a composition where form, material, and color converge to create an iconic figure in the skyline of Shiraz.
It is an embodiment of contemporary design rooted in context, where stability meets motion, and architecture becomes an expression of identity and place.
