Shiraz Health City is an unprecedented urban development spanning one thousand hectares, dedicated entirely to the fields of health and medical care. In its first phase, an area of approximately one hundred and fifty hectares has been allocated to specialized and complementary healthcare facilities, including advanced hospitals, wellness-oriented hotels, accommodations and recreational spaces related to well-being, and the supporting infrastructures that serve this extensive complex.
 
At the heart of this phase lies a vast central park set among the hospitals, functioning as the main axis of social interaction and calm. Designed as a pedestrian-oriented green landscape, the park provides a restorative setting for patients, visitors, and staff alike, promoting physical and mental well-being through open, breathable spaces filled with light and vegetation.
 
The principal urban approach extends from the Shiraz–Sepidan Road, rising gently through the terrain and leading to a grand city plaza that acts as the symbolic gateway and identity core of the development. A wide reflecting pool and dynamic fountains lend a sense of ceremony and vitality to this entrance, while beside it stands the main administrative building of the Health City—a solid, dignified structure that houses the municipal offices, health and medical administration, and decision-making centers.
 
Throughout the architectural design, light and white tones dominate, evoking feelings of serenity, purity, and transparency. Green corridors dedicated to wellness extend across the entire site, linking buildings with soft, walkable paths and creating visual continuity with the surrounding landscape. Despite the site’s considerable slope, the design makes intelligent use of the changing topography to form terraces and public spaces with broad, elevated views over the city and the natural setting.
 
In other parts of the plan, temporary residences are provided for staff and medical specialists, ensuring a close and natural connection between living, working, and the surrounding environment. In this way, Shiraz Health City is conceived not merely as a center for healthcare, but as a complete, living environment—an international destination for wellness that unites architecture, nature, and technology in the service of human life and the enhancement of everyday experience.
