Sadra Water Park is the largest theme park in the province of Fars; it is situated along side a freeway in the city of Sadra - a developing region on the north west of Shiraz. Through this city is the only freeway connecting Shiraz to the North West. Since Shiraz has a population of over 2 million this freeway is in high demand and conceivably a busy one. The city of Sadra is known to be a more modern part of the region and is continuously under development and as a result it has attracted the younger population, studies show over 71% of the population are between the ages of 15 to 30. Sadra’s population is projected to reach over 400,000; thus farther development predominantly in leisure vicinities has become an elevating concern and an essential necessity. In result the construction of a Water Theme park is projected to meet these demands.
Sadra Water Park is constructed on a mountain-side; similar to a Favela it finds its way down the steep hills and on to a ravine. With over 196,000sq/m of terrain This Theme park consists of diverse parts and leisure activities such as; commercial centre, Movie theater, amphitheater, theme park, water park, aquariums, restaurants, lakes  and islands designed for fishing and scientific studies, and a hotel. All connected by lifts and dynamic spaces creating an experience like never-before in the province of Fars.
